Narayana Engineering College, Nellore (NEC) is an engineering college in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India, run by Narayana Educational Institutions. Established in 1998, NEC provides technical education offering both graduate (Masters) and undergraduate (Bachelors) courses in Engineering and Technology. NEC is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU). NEC has been ranked among the top 50 of all 550 engineering Colleges in Andhra pradesh.

From 1998, undergraduate courses offered are Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, and Instrumentation Engineering. Courses in Electronics and Computers and in Bio-Medical Engineering were added later. As of 2010, NEC has a total intake of 480 students per year.
The campus is located north of the city of Nellore, 2 km from Muthukur Gate at the heart of the city, and occupies 35 acres (140,000 m2). The campus is mainly composed of three blocks A, B, and C. Block B, in the center, is the Main Block with the administration center.
Students are admitted into the undergraduate programmes based on their score in the EAMCET, a Common Entrance Test conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and into the postgraduate programmes based on their GATE scores based on all India ranking. The college follows a 4-year duration (1 year + 6 semesters) with external mode of examination for B.E/B.Tech programmes and a 4 semester course for the M.E/M.Tech programmes according to the norms of the JNTU.

The central library has about 5000 titles and 45000 volumes, and subscribes to online journals. To help the poor students from Schedule casts and tribes, the college has an SC/ST book bank to provide text books for them.
The Visweswariah Auditorium has 600 seats, and facilities to support international conferences and college activities.
NECTS is a college cultural festival organised by management and students in March–April each year.
The government of Andhra Pradesh has established DKC (District Knowledge Center) also called JKC (Jawahar Knowledge Center) in the state under the campus placement mission taken up by it, which is governed by Institute of Electronic Governance at the college campus and was inaugurated by the then chief minister Dr. Y S Raja sekhara Reddy. The college has received the Award of Excellence from the Chief Minister Dr. Y S Raja sekhara Reddy for securing the highest number of placements in Andhra Pradesh through JKC.
